Claiming that Mickie James is leaving SmackDown for good, Women’s Champion Michelle McCool and Layla hosted an in-ring going away party for Mickie James. As usual, the duo hurled insults, such as “Piggy James.” After exchanging words, the party was spoiled when a full-blown brawl broke out with Maria battling Layla, and Michelle battling Mickie.

Then, Beth Phoenix charged into the ring to join the fray. At first she hesitated as to which side she was going to choose, but then finally grabbed Maria and cleared her from the ring. Next, The Glamazon helped Layla hold Mickie, while Michelle smashed cake in her face and poured a bowl of punch over her head. Mickie was reduced to tears after the ugly assault. Mickie and Michelle will meet again at Royal Rumble.

Michelle McCool and Layla make fun of Mickie James with a buffet of food. Maria interferes and calls them morons. Mickie comes out and says Michelle and Layla think they are great but really they are nothing. She points at the audience and says this is what real women look like. She says Michelle will never run her off Smackdown. Michelle says the WWE fans get to watch Animal Planet and WWE at the same time when Mickie is on TV. Catfight ensues. Beth Phoenix runs in and helps Michelle and Layla. They shove a ‘Piggie’ cake into Mickie’s face and dump punch on her. Actually a great segment, believe it or not! (Source: PWInsider)

Maria recently responded to rumors of her leaving the WWE on her official twitter page:

Someday I will have to leave the WWE when I want to have a family but as of right now I am staying. I love seeing the WWE universe!

Maria will release her debut EP entitled ‘Sevin Sins’ on April 13th. The album will feature pop-rock songs.
